RS PRO T71 Red Threadlocking Adhesive, 250 ml, 24 h Cure Time


Keep your metal fasteners securely in place with this RS PRO T71 threadlocking adhesive. As it's an anaerobic glue, it cures without the need for oxygen – ideal for use on small gaps and internal machine parts.

As this red colour-type fluid is suitable for high temperatures up to +150°C, it can be used where heat is an issue. It has a strong methacrylate resin base with a Shore D value of >;80 once cured. This high level of hardness makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. Resistant to chemicals and moisture, it's useful for strengthening screws and bolts on food and pharmaceutical processing equipment.

This glue takes 24 hours to cure or you can speed up the curing time with an anaerobic accelerator. This adhesive is commonly applied to threads on machines and vehicles prone to vibration, such as impact mills, industrial dryers and compressors.
