RS PRO Silicone Side Drum Heater, 101 x 1524mm

This RS PRO drum heater is designed to provide a heavy-duty, electrically resistant heater in blanket form. It provides a practical and efficient means of freeze protection, viscosity control, solid melting and material maintenance at elevated temperatures. For safety and durability, the heating element is made of multi-strand nickel chromium, insulated with two applications of high-temperature fibreglass yarn and laminated between layers of silicone-impregnated fibreglass.
The heater's flexible design allows it to be easily wrapped around any drum. The silicone band can be used on a wide variety of materials, including plastic and steel. It's easy to install, and the spring-lock function allows you to move the band when the liquid levels fluctuate, ensuring that heat is never wasted.

This heater is excellent for facilitating the flow of thick oils, greases and other fluids in cold environments. It can heat anything from plastics to gels and food products to prevent them from solidifying in the drum.
