RS PRO Silicone Side Drum Heater, 125 x 1665mm, 200l

This silicone side drum heater from RS PRO reduces the viscosity of materials like soaps, fats, foodstuffs, varnishes and chemicals, allowing them to be pumped or poured with ease. The multi-strand resistance wires provide even, steady heating throughout the drum at temperatures ranging from 0°C to +120°C.
Thanks to the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating, the band is hydrophobic and resistant to moisture and chemicals. This protects the heating element from damage, even when used in harsh conditions. The wires are insulated between layers of high-temperature fibreglass yarn and silicone-impregnated fibreglass to ensure the strands don't break.
This heater is commonly used with 200 L drums. You can use it to allow for the continuous flow of thick oils, greases and other fluids in a cold environment. It can also aid in freeze protection, viscosity control, melting solids and maintaining materials at elevated temperatures.
