RS PRO Heating Element, 500 W


When you need to reduce the viscosity of liquids or maintain even heat distribution in a metal or plastic drum, this silicone heating element from RS PRO provides a durable and easy-to-use solution.

It has a simple spring fixing and a 2 m power cable for easy use. With a silicone double insulated construction, it's resistant to heat and chemicals. Its electronic thermostat regulates temperatures between 0°C and +120°C. This 940 mm x 125 mm element is most suitable for a 50 L drum and has a power rating of 500 W. Its IP40 rating means it's protected from wires and tools over 1 mm.

This heating element is well suited for the food production and manufacturing industries. It's useful for heating and thinning substances from fats and foodstuffs to varnishes and chemicals.
