Safeguard your home against harmful power surges with this RS PRO telephone line protector. This surge suppressor unit is specially designed to prevent sudden increases in electrical current from entering the home via telephone lines.

Most power surges last less than a thousandth of a second but can cause irreparable damage to electronic equipment and devices. In fact, anything containing a microprocessor is vulnerable, which includes the vast majority of household appliances.

Telephone lines are one of the most common pathways for power surges. This surge suppressor unit can be wall-mounted near them to block or divert excess voltage to the ground. In doing so, it prevents things like lightning strikes and short circuits from damaging TVs, computers, and microwaves, keeping your appliances safe. This unit ensures protection against lightning to BS (British Standard) 6651:1992 Appendix C and also meets IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 1000-4-5 standards for surge immunity.
