It prevents devices from generating or being affected by any kind of electrical disturbance, such as lightning or a blown fuse. This type of part is often used with kitchen appliances, computer equipment and medical devices.

The filter has EMI (electromagnetic interference) protection to eliminate humming, buzzing and other unpleasant electrical noises. It's quick to install, as all you need to do is mount it onto a DIN rail. It's safe to use in a wide range of commercial settings, thanks to its operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C. You'll often find this surge suppressor unit in domestic and commercial settings, including bedrooms, offices and IT labs.
