RS PRO 18 mm x 36 m ESD Safe Tape


This adhesive grid tape from RS PRO is designed for use around equipment that's sensitive to electrostatic discharge. As it's safe around electrical equipment, it's generally found in industrial and commercial settings such as electronics manufacturing plants, automotive production lines and electrical installations.

The translucent tape dissipates static when removed from a surface, thus preventing damage to nearby electronic components. It's clearly printed with the electrostatic discharge (ESD) symbol, so you know it's suitable for use in static-safe areas, plus you can easily identify it in a crowded toolbox. The surface of the tape is coated with conductive polypropylene (PE), which is a thermoplastic and readily conducts heat for effective cooling.

You can use this versatile adhesive with both manual and automatic tape dispensers, for ease of use in a variety of situations. It's often used around gold leads, sensitive circuit boards and equipment that contains a semi-conductor, including memory chips.
