When you're looking for a dual USB 2.0 socket for panel mounting, turn to this USB connector from the RS PRO range. It conveniently mounts the two sockets in a single space-saving receptacle that can be fitted to a standard XLR format chassis. The output connection header pins can be soldered directly onto PCBs or connected by header cable.

The housing of this socket has been configured to allow industry-standard panel cutouts and maximum panel mounting density. The straight body orientation makes for easy installation. A dust cover is available separately to provide extra protection.

The connector has been tested against a range of international standards to ensure its safety and effectiveness. It complies with RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Materials) standards and won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). A dual USB connector is commonly found in video and audio equipment.
