Looking for a quality waterproof USB jack? This Micro AB socket from RS PRO is manufactured from rugged thermoplastic materials, making it ideal for harsh environments where water and dust need to be kept out. IP67 rated, the jack will stay dry inside if submerged a metre deep for half an hour.

This USB connector has a recommended panel thickness of 0.8 mm to 3.0 mm along with a 16 mm panel hole size. Gold-plated contacts ensure quality data transmission and shielding protects the signal from electromagnetic interference. The straight orientation makes for easy installation.

The socket has been stringently tested against international standards, so you can be sure it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). It's also fully RoHS-compliant. You'll find it suitable for demanding applications in the marine or military sectors.
