It takes a broad input voltage range between 9 and 72V DC and brings it down to a safe, lower level of 3.3V DC. The unit is pin-out compatible with linear regulators from the LM78XX range so you can dig out your legacy system and give it an upgrade. Thanks to its wide operating temperature range between -40°C and +85°C, this Durable regulator is up to the challenge in harsh conditions.
