TE Connectivity Butt Wire Splice Connector


The TE Connectivity SOLISTRAND STRATO-THERM high-temperature strap butt splice crimp terminal is for use where operating temperatures prevent standard insulated crimps being used. These STRATO-THERM high-temperature strap butt splice crimp terminal is made from solid nickel and designed to terminate sold and/or stranded conductors. When the terminal is crimped, the wire inside is forced into the serrations or dimples of the barrel to maximise the electrical contact area after crimping. The maximum operating temperature for these STRATO-THERM strap butt splice crimp terminals is 649°C (1200°F).
