CoolSplice wire splice connectors suitable for splicing 0.34 mm² to 0.75 mm² solid and stranded wire and producing an industry proven reliable connection. These CoolSplice splice wire connectors use a simple push button termination method allowing easy factory or field installation. When squeezed with pliers the push button terminates the wires by inserting them into an IDC crimp contact. This IDC technology eliminates the need to pre-strip wires and saves installation time. The clear body of these CoolSplice connectors enables Visual inspection of the connection and the push buttons are colour coded to aid wire size identification. These CoolSplice IDC wire connectors have gel sealing enabling them to be used in harsh environment applications and offer waterproofing protection up to an IPX8 rating.
