RS PRO 250 mm Scissors


Use these heavy-duty scissors from RS PRO in your demanding industrial applications. The handles are made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) material, so they're durable enough to withstand use in demanding environments. Their ergonomic design provides greater control and comfort when cutting.

The blades are made of a bevelled and precisely ground stainless steel material that has been vacuum heat-treated to achieve a hardness of 56 to 58 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C). This ensures that the blade edges stay sharp, even with long-term use. The blade surfaces are also polished to make it easier to cut through materials such as cardboard, rubber and fabrics.

Utility shears like these are used on busy production and packing lines, as well as in wet processing environments and offices. They're commonly found in the fashion, textile and furniture manufacturing industries.
