Protect people and equipment in the event of an electrical fault with this safety relay from Phoenix Contact. The single-channel unit is built to a simple design that makes it ideal for monitoring a single function or piece of equipment. Use it for coupling digital output signals from failsafe controllers to I/O (input/output) devices such as valves to effect electrical isolation and power adaptation.

The compact unit slides easily onto a DIN rail to help you build a tidy and compact system, while screw connectors allow you quickly make secure electrical connections. Automatic activation means it'll monitor equipment and act as a safeguard, while manual reset and an emergency stop function give you easy control.

• Suitable for use with failsafe controllers up to Cat.4/PL e according to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 13849-1, SILCL (Safety Integrity Level, Claim Limit) 3 according to IEC 62061

• Operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C makes it suitable for industrial environments

• Protection against polarity reversal for rated control circuit supply voltage guards against incorrect connection

• Supply voltage of 24V DC makes it compatible with standardised systems
