RS PRO White Silicone Rubber Sponge Sheet, 1m x 600mm x 1.5mm, -60°C to 200°C

This silicone rubber sponge sheet will provide a tight and secure fit for your packaging needs, and is great for insulation, as it's easily cut to any shape you require.

The rubber sheet's closed-cell structure prevents liquids and gases from passing through. It can withstand temperature extremes of as low as -60°C to as high as +200°C, and features resistance to ozone and ultra-violet (UV) light, so it's suitable for use in a wide range of volatile environmental conditions. The silicone rubber sheet also has a relatively low compression rate, so it will return to its original shape after pressing or squeezing.

Silicone rubber makes an effective replacement for standard rubber, providing a soft and flexible insulation material. You will commonly find this product used in packing inserts, where it can be formed around valuable tools and components to hold them securely in place.
