Model SM2711 (stock no. 597-481) is designed for direct wired installations (low current control wire for on/off switching)

Model SM2730 (stock no. 597-497) can also be direct wired by removing the plug

Fluorescent lights should have any power capacitor removed when used with these units

Some colour televisions and monitors designed for universal mains input (90 to 264Vac) may not operate with the 230Vac inverters. Use model SM2802 (stock no. 243-1737) 115Vac output, to reduce the initial surge

These units only have their RMS output voltage closely regulated. For equipment sensitive to the crest of the mains voltage the SM1791 (stock no. 593-344) is recommended

Optional mounting kit SM2791 (stock no. 597-510) and direct wiring kit SM2797 (stock no. 512-8147) available. The direct wiring kit is used with cigar plug models, it consists of a cigar socket on 2m of cable

Ideal for powering personal computers, fax machines, printers, small power tools, domestic equipment and low energy lighting

Note

Suitable for negative earth battery systems only.
When used with cigar lighter plugs, the vehicle socket must have a rating of 1A (0.5A for 24V units) for every 10W of supplied power.
