Festo Vacuum Security Valve, -0.95 to 0 Bar, M5 Female Outlet - ISV-M5


Ensure a constant vacuum in applications where multiple suction cups are used with this security valve from Festo. It stops a vacuum from breaking down if one or more suction cups don't have a tight seal and improves the overall efficiency of a vacuum generator. The valve also prevents wastage of compressed air and saves on energy costs in industrial pneumatic systems. Its sintered bronze filter is maintenance-free to reduce downtime and it produces low friction for enhanced longevity. The valve has two M5 pneumatic connection ports for standard use.

How does this vacuum security valve work?


This security valve is fitted between a vacuum generator and a suction cup and stops the influx of air if a suction cup is uncovered or only partially covered. When the cup makes a tight seal, the valve allows the vacuum to be regenerated and closes immediately when an object is removed from a suction cup.
