RS PRO Black Nylon Rod, 1m x 25mm Diameter

It's 1 metre in length with a diameter of 25 mm and a density of 1.14 g/cm³. Made from extruded nylon 6, it's impact-resistant and abrasion-resistant and will hold up under exposure to harsh chemicals and UV light. It has a tensile strength of 75 MPa and is easily welded and machined.

This product meets stringent quality and safety standards. It's safe for use at temperatures up to +160°C, and it's self-extinguishing with a flammability rating of UL 94 HB from international science safety agency Underwriters Laboratories. It also complies with DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, German Institute for Standardisation) standard DIN 50 014 for corrosion resistance.

This nylon rod is useful for applications such as friction bearings, pulleys, chains and machine parts.
