RS PRO Black Acetal Rod, 1m x 41.7mm Diameter

A high quality and durable Polyoxymethylene Acetal rod measuring 1m in length and 41.7 mm in diameter with a tensile strength of 80 MPa.
Manufactured using Delrin resin the Polyoxymethylene POM-H the rod has excellent mechanical strength, low friction is resistant to chemicals, bonding and has a good level of dimensional stability.
The Delrin POM-H rod is electrically insulating and is safe for use at temperatures up to 150°C however it is not resistant to water over 60°C.
Readily machinable and suitable for various applications, this Black Acetal rod is suitable for use in a wide range of environments including aerospace, food processing and general industrial applications.
