RS PRO Flanged Round Nut for Lead Screw, Dia. 20 mm
If you need a hardwearing nut to use with a lead screw, this flanged bronze nut from the tried and tested RS PRO range is suitable for continuous movement applications.
The nut is suitable for use with single-start, trapezoidal lead screws. Its bronze construction gives it the strength to carry heavier loads. The flanged round nut fits a 4-millimetre lead and a 20-millimetre shaft, with an outside diameter of 55 millimetres. It has six screw holes that take M6 screws and it weighs 370 gms.
As part of the RS PRO range the product has been stringently tested and the nut also conforms to the Electrostatic Control Standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007. Bronze nuts such as these are used with lead power screws to translate circular motion into linear motion. They are commonly used in applications including vices, jacks and linear actuators.
