RS PRO Chair, Floor, Surface, Wrist ESD Tester

This low resistance tester from RS PRO is used to ensure error-proofing in sensitive electronic devices. Test failure can indicate faults like overheating, energy loss, protective fault device malfunction and poor grounding. It checks for compliance with ESD TR53 as per ANSI/ESD S20.20, which is the recognised international standard for protection from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ESD).

The tester is equipped with pass/fail audio and visual indicators to confirm that the device being tested meets the required limit. Simply connect or touch the tester end to a banana jack or other equipment being tested, press and hold until the indicator activates. A 1.8 m-long coiled cord ensures ease of use in the field.
