RS PRO ESD Field Kit
With the RS PRO ESD (electrostatic discharge) field kit, you can set up a safe workspace wherever you need to work. This lightweight kit is easy to safely fold up into its pouch and carry from site to site.
The kit comes with a static dissipative mat to ground you while you work. The mat has a handy sewn-in pocket, keeping your tools in place as you travel between jobs. Although it's lightweight, the kit contains everything you need to set up your ESD-protected area. It comes with an adjustable wrist strap set, a 4 m EBP (earth bonding point) ground cord, black wide-jaw crocodile clip, stacking banana jack and 10 mm stud adaptor.
The mat has a surface resistance of 10E6-10E8 ohms under the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 61340-2-3 standard. ESD field kits are used by electronics industry service engineers when they're away from their permanent workplaces.
