It's designed to deliver efficient power conversion for SiC MOSFET drivers, so you benefit from a safe and reliably regulated DC power supply to your system. For safety, its plastic casing is flame-retardant, so there's minimal risk of it catching alight in the event of a fire. As this component produces very little heat, no forced fan cooling is needed.
