It accepts an input from an ultra-wide 4:1 range from 9 to 36V DC and outputs a carefully controlled ±12V DC you can safely use with your battery-operated equipment. Thanks to the unit's high efficiency of 80%, it produces little waste heat and there's no need for a fan or heatsink to keep it cool.
