The USB PT-104 measures temperature using platinum resistance thermometers (PRTs). Both common industry standards (PT100 and PT1000) are supported. The unit is compatible with 2, 3 and 4 wire sensors (4 wire PT100 sensors are recommended for accurate measurements). A wide range of PT100 sensors are available for use with the USB PT-104.

The USB PT-104 is supplied with PicoLog data logging software. PicoLog will automatically detect which sensor is connected and will display readings in the correct units. Also supplied is a software development kit. The SDK contains a range of software drivers and example code that you can use to write your own software or to use your USB PT-104 data logger with third party software

Also available are a range of Class A sensors (±0.15 at 0 °C) and tenth-DIN sensors (±0.03 at 0 °C). Please note that the range and accuracy specifications relate to the SENSOR tip ONLY and not the cable or handle. Furthermore, it is necessary to add the sensor error to the USB PT-104 error

PicoLog Cloud allows all current Pico data loggers and real-time scopes to capture data either direct to a local memory drive or stream the captured data to a secure online Cloud store, and can then be shared via a link to any browser on a PC, phone or tablet, anywhere in the world. In addition, an API can be used that allows live capture data to be transferred from the Cloud to a 3rd party database or program.
