3M Cable Mount D-Sub Connector Plug, 50 Way, 1.27mm Pitch - 101 Series - 10150-6000EC

This 3M cable mount D-sub connector is a practical way to establish connections in and between electronic applications. The connector accepts different cable constructions including flat, round, twisted pair and Twinax cables. It's shielded against electromagnetic interference and electrostatic discharge to protect both your internal wiring and components adjacent to the connector. Use this product to orientate and align your connections for steady and unbroken power and data transmissions.

• Compliance with UL 94V-0 (Underwriters Laboratories) indicates the connector won't act as an ignition or fuel source should a fire break out• Withstands temperatures between -20°C to +85°C for use in challenging industrial environments • Gold-plated contacts ensure excellent thermal and electrical conductivity for optimal functioning• Steel housing material for durability and long service life

Do I need a crimper or other tools to terminate my connections?

This 3M cable mount D-sub connector comes with IDC (insulation displacement connection) termination. This means that the wires won't need stripping, soldering or crimping.

From 3M, this range of 101 Series Mini D Ribbon (MDR) Connectors are .050" IDC Wiremount Shielded Plugs. The design of the 101 Series Mini D Ribbon (MDR) Connectors, provides IDC terminations for the individual cores and wiper-on-wiper contact. The 101 Series MDR Wiremount Plug accepts various cable constructions including round, flat, twisted pair and twinax.
