EDAC 516 120 Way Straight D-Sub Connector Female

The EDAC 516 series rectangular connector socket has crimp pin termination type. This female socket is suitable for applications where safety and high reliability are required. It has a hermaphroditic metal-to-metal contact design. The sockets or receptacles of this high-density system can form either the fixed or free half of the connector, providing designers with great flexibility. It has 120 contacts, which are made of phosphor bronze. These include audio broadcast, railway signalling, oil and gas industry control systems together with general industrial and automotive control and test systems. The hosing is made from a plastic material. Crimp, solder and wire wrap contacts are available for this connector housing and are sold separately.
