RS PRO D-Sub Connector Dust Cover


Do you need an easy and inexpensive way to prevent dust and static damage to your electronic equipment? The RS PRO D-Sub connector dust cover can do the job. It simply pushes onto male 9-pin D-sub terminals to keep your devices free of dust and static while idling.

This dust cover is made from flame-retardant ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic with a rating of UL 94 V0. That means it stops burning within 10 seconds. The inside cover is nickel-coated, giving it enhanced electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) shielding to enclose the terminal and block disrupting signals. As part of the RS PRO range, this series of covers has been rigorously tested for quality and durability and complies with British and EU standards for electrostatic discharge.

This D-sub connector accessory is an effective shield against physical and chemical damage and static, as well as dust and interference.
