Use this FCT metal backshell from Molex to protect your D-subminiature (D-sub) connector. The die-cast zinc housing material increases shielding from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to optimise the performance of your connections. Nickel plating on the housing ensures resistance to corrosion for long-lasting use in harsh environments. This large amount of internal space is particularly suitable for D-sub connectors with special contacts. The design of the FMK Series Metal Hood Backshell includes strain relief on the cable outlet. The FMK Series Metal Hood Backshell is easy to assemble thanks to the catch spring system and pre-mounted locking screws.
