RS PRO PPO D-Sub Connector Backshell, 9-Way, Strain Relief
This nine-way D-sub backshell from RS PRO is designed to stabilise and protect your D-sub connector. It comes with all the required fixing screws and retaining clips, so you can install it right away and ensure it's securely fastened.
The backshell screws onto the D-sub connector to relieve any strain on the cable that could quickly wear it down. This helps make sure your components remain in top condition for longer. It's made from polyphenylene oxide (PPO), so it's highly resistant to the heat distortion that can occur with electrical cables.
The PPO material also protects the connection from weathering and stops moisture and dust particles from working their way into the wires. This increases the working life of your cables and makes for an efficient, reliable connection that will last a long time.
