RS PRO Crimp Die Set, Terminal


Use this crimp die set with the RS PRO Hydraulic Hand Crimping Tool (445-885) to crimp aluminium and copper cables of up to 50 mm² in cross-sectional area. The dies are simple to use as they don't require a power supply thanks to the hydraulic action used to generate the necessary force for crimping.

The dies comply with US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, so you can rest assured that they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. They're ideal for crimping heavy-duty cable terminals onto stranded and flexible wires in applications such as telecom systems, utility services and panel building. These dies can be kept safe in their own compartment in the carry case that comes with the RS PRO crimping tool, making it simple to organise and protect your instruments.
