A typical install would be to gather the cable in a loop, select your cable tie and wrap it around the cable and start it. The next step is to feed the cable through the inlet at the tip of the gun. You can adjust the tension strength with a dial at the foot of the gun and a small round window indicates the tension strength setting (1 to 3). Now pull the trigger a few times till it cuts the access cable material off.
