It simply screws onto an M32 cable gland to hold it firmly in place. The unit lets you to mount the gland onto threadless boreholes, ensuring the cable runs through securely and without strain. Use it with corresponding items from LAPP's SKINTOP series, such as a polyamide gland for cables between 9 and 21mm (362-0067).
