RS PRO Adhesive Acoustic Insulation, 800 mm x 500 mm x 1.4 mm


When you need to improve the acoustic insulation around your machinery, pick this polyvinyl acetate (PVA) damping sheet. It's made from a viscoelastic polymer material and reduces the vibrations in flat, resonant surfaces like stainless-steel sinks, machine guards and vehicle panels.

This lightweight material is available in soundproofing sheets of 800 mm x 500 mm and can be die-cut to whatever size and shape you need. Its self-adhesive backing makes it simple to handle and straightforward to install. Suitable for use on substrates operating at continuous temperatures between -30ºC and +100ºC, this insulation can withstand intermittent temperatures up to +165ºC.

Compliant with industry standards FMVSS 302 and ISO 3795, this acoustic insulation sheet is suitable for use in applications where fire and fume toxicity are major considerations. It can often be found in industrial plant and preparation tables.
