Paulstra Hutchinson Adhesive Melamine Foam Acoustic Insulation, 500 mm x 500 mm x 30 mm


These acoustic insulation sheets are made from melamine foam and are used in a wide range of building applications such as air-conditioning systems. They can also be found across industry in everything from air compressors to injection presses.

The melamine foam sheets are designed to reduce airborne noise in partial or complete machinery enclosures. For safety, they conform with M1, UL94, and DIN 4102 industry standards, meaning they're flame-retardant. Self-adhesive backing on one side makes the sheets easy to fix in place. They perform particularly well in high frequencies (above 1250 Hz), with an average sound absorption rate of 85% at 2000 Hz.

Each soundproofing sheet is also compliant with fire propagation standard BS476 Pts 6 & 7 Class 0. They have a wide variety of uses and can be found in plant construction, gearboxes and acoustic casing.
