3M 782C Ceramic Sanding Disc, 115mm, Coarse Grade, P36 Grit, 25 in pack

Reduce the effort needed to sand metals with this ceramic disc from 3M. It has a grit size of P36, which is an extra coarse grade that quickly removes excess material to speed up fabrication tasks. As it's made from hard ceramic minerals, the disc cleanly slices through tough surfaces. Precision-shaped grains form sharp peaks on the disc surface to make weld and paint removal easier. This means less physical pressure needs to be put on your angle grinder, minimising strain on you and your equipment.

Using the 3M™ 782C outperforms conventional ceramic discs. Designed to be used with a 3M™ backing pad with an angle grinder or sander. This fibre wheel is well-suited for edge chamfering bevelling, deburring and weld removal on mostly carbon steel.

This abrasive disc is suitable for use on metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Using 3M™ precision-shaped grain technology to offer a higher initial and durability to outlast conventional ceramic fibre discs. The grit wears evenly and with the abrasive staying cooler and sharper, the PSG abrasive lasts significantly longer than conventional ceramic discs. These discs will help to step up production with an improved output on both light and heavy stock removal.

The 3M™ 782C heavy-duty fibre discs are great for weld removals, grinding and blending large and small metal areas. This could occur in industries such as farm and construction, automotive, ship and boat building, metal fabrication.

The 782C disc is for use on carbon steel, the 787C is used for stainless steel and other non-ferrous alloys such as aluminium and titanium (Sold at RS).

These abrasive discs are designed for use on metals and are not recommended to be used on wood.
