This abrasive Scotch-Brite Roloc disc from 3M is a good choice for removing paint, rust, hardened adhesives and residual sealants from metal, wood, plastic and other hard surfaces. It's made from tough, non-woven fibres and an aluminium-oxide abrasive to provide a tough, durable surface-conditioning disc. This component offers a high cut-rate, impressive strength and low heat retention for an effective, long-lasting solution. The plastic threaded screw can be quickly swapped out with other Roloc discs for fast and convenient use.

The unique construction of the Scotch-Brite™ disc is made up of non-woven fibres and aluminium oxide abrasive making it tough and durable. Compared to traditional abrasives that quickly wear down when used, this discs high cut-rate, hardness, strength and low heat retention make aluminium oxide a popular choice.

A non-woven disc is made of short and long fibres that are bonded chemically, thermally or mechanically rather than by weaving. Once coated with aluminium-oxide abrasive, non-woven fibres are extremely strong.

The Roloc™ system from 3M™ provides a secure attachment on heavy duty applications. It allows for Roloc discs to be quickly swapped out from one application to another in seconds. The plastic threaded button or screw is designed to easily and quickly screw on a Roloc TR disc pad (50 mm backing pad - 288-471).
