RS PRO Steel Bevelled Abrasive Brush, 178mm Diameter

Remove rust, metal burrs and blemishes with this steel abrasive brush from RS PRO. It comes with bore-reducing bushes that adjust between 13 mm and 32 mm, so you can fit it onto virtually any bench grinding machine.
The brush has crimped wires, which makes it suitable for general-purpose applications like cleaning welds and removing oxide layers on steel fittings. Since it's a bevelled brush, it's ideal for working on pieces with irregular surfaces, edges and cracks. It also has a maximum safe speed of 6,000 rpm (revolutions per minute), making it more than able to cut through thick rust or layers of old paint.
This unit is stringently tested for quality by engineers. It's designed to handle less aggressive metalworking applications in the workshop. Steel brushes like these are commonly used to prepare surfaces prior to painting or polishing, such as steel tubes, car parts or boat hulls.
