The Infineon OptiMOS IPOL 20 A is an easy to use, fully integrated DC-DC buck regulator with patented fast Constant-On-Time (COT) control scheme, it simplifies the design effort, while enable an enhanced transient response and improved Vout regulation also the on-board PWM controller and OptiMOS 5 MOSFETs with integrated bootstrap diode make the TDA38820 a small footprint, high efficiency solution for various point of load applications requiring.

Single 4.3 V to 17 V application or wide input voltage range from 2.0 V to 17 V with an external VCC

Precision reference voltage 0.6 V, +/- 0.5 percent

Enhanced fast COT engine stable with ceramic output capacitors and no external compensation

Optional forced continuous conduction mode and diode emulation for enhanced light load efficiency

Programmable switching frequency from 600 kHz to 2 MHz
