RS PRO 1 Phase 1.2 kVA Variac, 240 V ac, 5 A


This stand-alone RS PRO variac transformer connects your electrical circuits. It has a firm, enclosed design and comes complete with knob and dial for effortless control. The single-phase transformer is available in a variety of current ratings.

Featuring a silver-plated commutator, the transformer is used to reverse your electrical current. It has a low operating torque level, as well as a low magnetising current. This makes it highly efficient and provides a linear output that's smooth, alongside capacity for overloading and minimal distortion of its waveforms. It also comes with an output connector to make connections for test purposes.

Part of RS PRO’s professional ’Varivolt’ range, the transformer is used around the home and in industrial settings for power transmission and distribution, power conversions, and audio systems. It’s also compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards for safety.
