SMC Vacuum Generator, 1.2 mm nozzle, -91 kPa 72 L/min, ZK2 series

This vacuum generator is a Compact ejector unit designed for industrial automation to create and control vacuum in pneumatic systems. It integrates a two-stage ejector with pilot-operated valves and a high-noise reduction silencer to deliver suction for handling and pick-and-place tasks across manufacturing and assembly contexts while operating within standard workshop temperature ranges.

It accepts 12 to 24VDC with ±10% tolerance and reverse-connection protection, consuming 40 mA or less for the control circuitry.

The digital pressure switch displays with a 3½-digit red LED and offers a set range of −105 to 105 kPa with display accuracy of ±2% F.S. ±1 digit and 0.1 kPa increments.

The unit operates between 5 and 50 °C, withstands vibration of 20 m/s² and impact of 100 m/s², and is rated IP40 for enclosure protection.

Switch outputs use PNP open-collector logic with 80 mA max load, residual voltage ≤2 V, anti-chatter timing and short-circuit protection.
