RS PRO Universal Joint, Single, Plain, Bore 8mm, 40mm Length

These universal joints from RS PRO are an ideal choice when you want to connect rotating machinery – such as conveyors, line shafts and drive shafts – to a prime mover. They're used in cars, trucks and other vehicles to connect two shafts or rods whose axes are inclined at an angle to each other.

As a bored hub type, this joint has a round-shaped, hex-shaped or square-shaped hole and a bore of 8 mm. These plain bearing universal couplings are suitable for applications with a maximum speed of 1000 rpm and an operating angle of between 3° and 45°. You can use plain bearings with a protective gaiter to ensure smooth operation when you use this universal joint with machinery or in vehicles.
