RS PRO 1 Channel Digital DIN Rail Time Switch Measures Hours, 12 V DC


This single channel digital time switch from RS PRO lets you control the on/off switches on lighting components, heating applications and industrial equipment. The 'DIN' in DIN rail time switch stands for Deutsches Institut für Normung, which is the German Institute for Standardisation.

DIN rail time switches are versatile and can be used by manufacturers to manage automated machinery, control automatic barriers and doors and for turning on heaters and lights only when needed, which conserves energy and prevents devices from being left on unnecessarily.

This time switch can display three lines of text clearly as an LCD (liquid-crystal) display. Time is measured in hours in both 12-hour and 24-hour display formats. The interface is easy to navigate thanks to its simple reset and manual override.

This hardwearing product has a battery life of six years. Its robust housing is IP40-rated for protection against small wires and tools.
