This penknife-style thread pitch gauge from RS PRO lets you quickly measure the distance between the threads of screws, nuts and bolts. With 30 milled steel blades that can measure imperial thread pitches between 4 and 42 threads per inch (TPI), this gauge lets you determine the gradient of a thread without the need for calculations.

To measure a thread pitch, simply match the blade teeth on the gauge with the threaded portion of a workpiece. Thanks to the narrow profile of each blade, you can use the gauge for both internal and external thread pitches on threads with an angle of 60°.

The gauge's sturdy steel case features spring-loaded knurled knobs at each end to secure the blades during use. They then fold into the case for protection and storage when not in use.
