RS PRO Type K Thermocouple 500 mm Length, 0.5 mm Diameter, +750°C
This RS PRO thermocouple is a fast and accurate gauge of temperatures ranging from -40°C to +750°C. The probe diameter of just 0.5 mm gives it a very quick thermal response, so it provides swift feedback in temperature sensing applications.
Thanks to its Inconel® Alloy 600 material, the probe has excellent resistance to oxidation. This Type K thermocouple has an insulated hot junction for resistance to corrosion in harsh industrial environments. The junction also prevents electrical interference to ensure more reliable readings. The flexible sheath makes it easy to bend as needed without damage to the wires.
The sheath is colour-coded according to ANSI (American National Standards Institute) MC96.1 guidelines, allowing you to identify the thermocouple type at a glance. This type of thermocouple is commonly used in chemical reactors and steam boilers, as well as in man-made fibre and synthetic material production and the paper industry.
