RS PRO Type K Mineral Insulated Thermocouple 150mm Length, 6mm Diameter → +1100°C

This Type K thermocouple from the RS PRO range features a flexible, mineral-insulated wire and stainless steel sheath. The probe can be bent and formed and its mineral insulation makes it suited to high pressure, vacuum and vibration applications.

The mineral insulation of this thermocouple facilitates rapid heat transfer between the conductor and the shaft, as well as protecting the thermocouple wire from environmental damage, corrosion and electrical interference. The duplex probe has two independent measuring junctions allowing one probe to be connected to two different measurement or control devices. Alternately, you can use the second sensor as a backup, meaning the probe doesn't have to be replaced immediately if one sensor fails.

The flexibility offered by these thermocouples, as well as their maximum operating temperature of +1100°C, makes them popular for use in power stations, heat exchanges and laboratory applications.
