RS PRO Extension Cable, -75°C → +260°C


This Type K thermocouple extension cable will enable you to add extra length to a thermocouple cable. The wire is insulated with perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA) for durability and shielded with a supple stainless steel braided screen enclosed in a PFA sheath, so it's highly resistant to oils and acids. This product is from our stringently tested RS PRO range.

Designed to operate in demanding environments, this 2 m cable will tolerate temperatures from +260˚C and down to -75˚C without degrading, with a maximum continuous operating temperature of +220°C. It's fitted with polarised contacts to help you make the correct connection.

Conforming to the IEC-584 standard for thermocouple cables, it's been certified as safe to use. What's more, it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge as it conforms to the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards. It also complies with RoHS on levels of hazardous substances.
