You can use this reliable, self-adhesive thermal gap pad from the RS PRO range when you need to provide efficient electrical insulation between heatsinks and other components in your application. It's especially suitable for use where rough or uneven surfaces and gaps prevent you from using other forms of insulation.

The thermal pad is made from silicone to guarantee it's durable and has excellent thermal conductivity and a wide operating temperature range. The pad reduces the temperature of your printed circuit boards (PCBs) and components by effectively transferring the heat to the heatsink, helping you protect your application from wear and extending its service life.

Pads like this one are commonly used in flat panel displays and computer components as well as in engine control units in the automotive industry. The pad conforms to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) criteria so you can be sure it includes only trace amounts of any harmful substances.
