RS PRO Flame Retardant Calcium-Magnesium Silicate Thermal Insulating Sheet, 3.6m x 610mm x 13mm

Thisl sheet from RS PRO provides outstanding thermal insulation for products that run at high temperatures. It's useful for lining chimneys and kilns or as an exhaust heat shield.
The sheet's flexible fibres make it pliable and easy to wrap around components such as exhausts. It's also extremely strong, so it won't tear when you stretch or shape it. As it contains no binders or lubricants, the insulation doesn't give off any harmful fumes or strong smells when it heats up. Its excellent thermal properties ensure it keeps hot components or surfaces cool to touch.
Because this product is highly resistant to chemicals and solvents it's a suitable choice for insulating greasy factory machinery. It meets environmental (ENV) 1094-3 standards, so you can be sure it presents no safety hazards when used in high-temperature applications.
