RS PRO Split Cotter Pin (19.1 x 0.8mm)


A hard-wearing cotter pin (or split pin) designed to be inserted into a 0.8mm diameter hole creating a secure and easily removable connection, without the need of any specialist tools.

Manufactured from a half round strip of high quality Carbon Steel turned back on itself to form a split-circular section. The split pin is finished with an attractive Bright Zinc Plating (BZP) for excellent wear resistance and corrosion protection, making them well suited to indoor and outdoor use.

Featuring a leg length of 19.1mm the split cotter pins are suitable for a hole diameter of 0.8mm and meet British Standard BS1574. This ensures the Steel pins meet the expected performance and size tolerances resulting in a high quality and hardwearing cotter pin suitable for a wide range of applications.

Perfect for providing a tight grip on applications where regular access, maintenance or adjustment is required the pin is easily locked in place by bending the two legs. Split pins are used throughout industry in wheels, bearings, and other vibration heavy equipment.
